immersive flower installations

Okay so while I was processing all the admin that I have to do, I got distracted and stumbled upon the fantastic flower installations by Rebecca Louise Law.

They are so amazing and beautiful.  They transform the space. They take nature inside and the relationship between indoors and outdoors is great.
It is a conceptually beautiful and intricate work and I am now obsessed with it.

Check out more below.

floating flower garden by TeamLab

IMG_0999

In Tokyo currently is a display called Floating Flower Garden.

What is it? It is an immersive, interactive installation of blossoming vegetation. Visitors enter a room with floating flowers. The thing is though, when you walk towards them they rise into the air, creating an air bubble within the dense forest. You become immersed in flowers, becoming “completely one with the garden itself.” n

Floating Flower Garden is the latest installaton by TeamLab, a Japanese art collective of ‘ultra-technologists’ lead by Toshiyuki Inoko.

It is a beautiful installation.
